The North coast of Barbados is well known for its spectacular scenery and rough and rugged beauty. While swimming is not generally recommended at most of the North coast beaches because of the strong tides, there are a few bays that do offer the possibility to enjoy a dip!
Barbados’ North coast beaches are relatively secluded, and so it’s a good idea to take a picnic along when visiting these beaches. Some of the best North coast beaches are Cove Bay, River Bay, Little Bay and Pico Tenerife.
